What materials are the chains?
Our collection of chains are Gold Filled and Sterling Silver, with some Rose Gold Filled and Solid Gold options.
What is Gold Filled?
The perfect blend of luxury and affordability. It has a thick, durable layer of solid gold bonded to a sturdy metal core, it offers the rich, radiant look of gold without the high price tag. Unlike gold-plated pieces, gold-filled jewellery stands the test of time, resisting tarnish and wear.
Moral of the story - it won’t turn you green It’s a beautiful, long-lasting choice for style that lasts.
What is Sterling Silver?
Our silver chains are .925 Sterling Silver. This is the standard for high-quality silver jewellery. The silver that is composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% of other metals, usually copper, to enhance its strength and durability.
Sterling Silver can tarnish over time, however, the tarnish is easy to remove with a silver polish cloth or cleaner. So with proper care, you can keep it looking beautiful. Tarnishing occurs when silver reacts with sulfur or moisture in the air, creating a dull film on the surface.
What is the cost?

We are pleased to offer solid gold, with one solid gold chain currently available in our collection.f you have a particular style of our gold filled collection that you would like in solid gold, please get in touch.
Pricing is subject to the market rate of gold and the sourcing location, with all our gold procured exclusively from trusted suppliers in the USA or Italy.
Solid gold bracelets typically range from €190 to €250.
How about in the sea? In chlorine? With fake tan/spray tan?
The metals we use do not tarnish or oxidize and are hypoallergenic. With proper care they can last as long as you wish (see next question on care). The chains can be easily cleaned if they become 'faded' due to every-day wear.
As an example, I have my longest one 3 years and it is still going strong - I surf in the sea, use saunas, use the gym, use fake tan and have been in hot tubs/pools with chlorine - moral of the story, they are very durable
Will my jewellery stand the test of time?
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: just like with regular jewellery, avoid exposing your permanent jewellery to moisturizers, perfumes, or cleaning chemicals, as much as possible
Gentle Cleaning: clean your jewellery with a soft brush to remove dirt and oil build-up. For deeper cleaning, use a mild soap and water solution, but avoid soaking
Keep Dry: Excessive moisture can cause tarnishing or affect the longevity of the piece. Try to dry it off well, especially after showering or swimming.
With just a little care, your jewellery can maintain its luster and elegance for years to come.
How do I care for my chain?
Is the welding process safe?
It is completely painless and harmless. A protective leather patch is placed between you and the chain at the time of welding. The weld happens in an instant tiny 'spark'.
Do I have to remove it for an MRI scan?
You may be asked to remove it for an MRI scan. Of course I will re-weld your chain free of charge in this case.
1. Locate the jump ring where your chain was welded
2. Grab a pair of wire cutters, nail clippers, or scissors
3. Snip your chain right at the jump ring.
4. Save your chain and come back to get it re-attached (or add a clasp)
What about travel and airport security?
Don’t worry, your jewellery is completely fine going through airport security, you won’t be setting off any alarms and you won’t be asked to remove it.
How long does the welding take?
Between choosing your chain, measuring comfortable length and welding the chain, the process takes about 10-15 minutes per person. Allow a little more time if you wish to add charms/connectors.

Gold filled & Sterling silver chains are similar to solid gold in that they are waterproof, uv protected, they will not tarnish or oXidize.
